cone centered about the optical axis.
1.3 The signal shall consist of:
a. An LED module.
b. Protective backcover.
c. LED light source.
d. Power supply.
2.0 Countdown Timer Description
2.1 Microcontroller based, the user can set all modes and timing functions via
a multiposition dip switch, and a dual digit thumbwheel switch. All system
timing is derived from the MAN and PED CLEAR/don't walk controller signal.
2.2 A counter/digits test button is also provided.
2.3 The Modes are described as follows:
2.3.1 Mode 1 - PED CLEAR MODE
This mode counts down ONLY during the PED-CLEAR time. The count terminates
at the end of PED-CLEAR time. The countdown timer continuously monitors the
PED-CLEAR signal and automatically adjusts for any changes made at the controller.
2.3.2 Mode 2 - WALK/PED CLEAR MODE
This mode begins countdown with the man signal and counts down until
termination of PED-CLEAR time. The countdown timer continuously monitors
the WALK/PED CLEAR signal and automatically adjusts for any changes made
at the controller.
2.3.3 Other modes available upon request.
2.4 Test Switch: displays "88" for a 2 second time period and goes out.
2.5 Dimming (Optional) Factory set but is user adjustable. Set by board mounted
adjustment. Dimming delay is 20 seconds.
